"Very well then. Lets go to the castle,and see about your fire.Shall we?Its north of here."Ddwng pointed.

A large castle loomed ahead. Cream to tan colored stones made up the castle walls. They were high,and guarded fiercely.

"Its the kingdom. I am of the first order,you will meet the king soon enough."ddwng explained casually.

Ddwng hopped off the dragon.He walked off to the castle.

Many looked at Ddwng strangely,but he passed them by without even a glance.He held the castle door open for the dragon,so he could get inside.

"Dont worry. You wont grow out of this castle. The top has a open section for landing. Back when dragons were regular,everyday creatures.This castle is centuries of years old."Ddwng explained,seeing the look on his face.

"On the west wing...."Ddwng pointed to the west,and nodded.

"Its fine. Anyone who comes in has to be told this.Your not the first."Ddwng explained yet again.

"Shall we meet the king?"Ddwng looked at the dragon out of the corner of his chilling icy blue eyes.

Ddwng turned into a hidden hallway. A shortcut known only to few. He twisted and turned back and forth through the halls. Then he reached the magnificent white oak doors,barring the king's room. He knocked three times,then stepped in. A large man with black hair,and eyes of steel,had a large golden crown atop his raven black mane. He nodded to Ddwng as he bowed slightly,then turned his cold eyes on the dragon.

He looked the young dragon over,seeing everything about him. He opened his mouth and spoke,with a colder voice than even Ddwng."Hello Ddwng. What do you bring us?A young dragon?"

ooc: Quick question, since with the first five the Earth mode was in the late 20th, would it be near modern day now?

Di sunk down into the dip in the dogwood otside her house in front of the little shed. She knew was too old for this kind of thing, but she felt like it was important some how. Shrugging it off, she leaned back a bit, and watch the stars peak into the sky. Or were they clouds? She laughed to herself, and went on imagining.

Ghost trotted through the many humans. They were weak, and stupid. At first, he had found it wonderful to make them stronger, to make them smart with his surperior knowledge, but now it bored him. Only his dream were any fun now.

Chi felt a familiar presence. Ghost,the one horse who she was very careful around. He was in between.She made her mind dumb,sealing it off. She glanced around for the horse,wondering where he was.

Ghost stopped, and looked around. Even if these humans were dumb, they were all still different. Each looked some what different, from different relations had different smells, men seemed tougher, women, more delicate, and each having a kind of personality. One Ghost taken the time to remember was Chi's. She just seemed...a little off...but what ever it was, he didn't know. Spottinh her, he dipped his head, and walked on.

Chi nodded,the submissive,and polite thing to do. She watched him walk away and sighed in relief,then let her thoughts free again.

The king chuckled.

"What do I do?Child,I am the King. I do whatever pleases me."He laughed again.

"First,we'll watch you.Make sure you aren't a spy. So we dont give out secrets to anyone else. Then,if you prove yourself,you can have anything you desire.Well,almost anything..."The king spun this tale thoughtfully.

"Ill let Ddwng answer that."The king answered.


"Well,the usual keep the peons under control,and so on.Not many kiddie games."Ddwng answered quietly.

Ghost still had an uncertain feeling about Chi. He didn't know why he did, wondering what led him to later on in his life, but he turned, and walked back towards the girl.

Ddwng nodded,"Of course. Come with me."He turned and bowed with a flourish to the King,then walked out towards the south wing.He checked behind him to make sure the dragon was following.


Chi didnt realize anyone was coming back,so she kept her mind unguarded.She didnt get much sleep the night before,as some horses had been patrolling near her sleeping quarters,and she had to be guarded on what she thought.

They walked into a large area. Stone slab tables were set around. Wooden chairs,usually four to a table,were set beside it. A area was cornered off for a kitchen. A fire was being tended to with a suckling pig being roasted. Bread was being kneaded,and all the chatter stopped as they walked in. Eyes looked at Draek and cast their eyes away.

"Dont mind them.They just dont listen to anyone."He muttered.

Ddwng chuckled to himself."How about you use a table as a seat,hmm?"He laughed.
