The Last Stand (PG-13)

Rimmon turned Misherini north,and started off at a brisk trot.

Nileve followed after, her horse easily keeping the pace.

"So...You have the most experience Nileve,where would they mostly be?"Rimmon asked.

Nileve said,"Most experince in fighting, probably, in this war, no. My brother would, but I've been traveling all my life."

Nileve suggested,"Probably larger villages, or cities. It would do the most damage."

Rimmon nodded."Well,if they struck this city last,then does anyone know what village they struck before,there may be a pattern,or a way they're heading...."

Nileve said,"Arros came from a destories town. Maybe they attack in a pattern of big-little, in a manner of speaking."

"This was a smaller town,so maybe we should head to......Cairo..."Rimmon suggested.

((ooc:Yes,I know Cairo is the capital of Egypt...))

Nileve nodded,"Alright, lead the way."

Rimmon brought Misherini up to a smooth canter,and Meca followed suite.

Nileve let Azane sped up. She looked around, Twilight would be back soon.

Okie glided up into the air, morphing into his raven form. He wanted to say good-bye to Rimmon. Then, Twilight sprung up, his great white wings stopping him. Okie went spirally back. He changed back,"What are you doing?" Twilight replied,"My orders." With that, he was gone. Okie headed back to the village.

Twilight flew alongside Lady Wolf, his job done.

Rimmon felt a odd surge from the necklace. She looked over at Twilight and Nileve,looking for any black feathers on the wolf.

Nileve glanced at Twilight, and the wolf simply nodded. Nileve looked at Rimmon,"Something wrong?"

Rimmon shrugged,unsure of whether something was or wasnt wrong.

Nileve asked,"How far are we from Cario?"

"Id say.. About five miles,we can get there pretty soon if we hurry."Rimmon thought for a moment before answering.

Nileve replied,"Wow...that's not really that far at all."

Rimmon nodded quietly as they continued on.

Nileve smiled, and let Azane fall into a smooth gallop. Twilight raced by her, his wings folded in.

Remus loped along side Rimmon quietly,letting his Mistress think. He looked at Nileve,and wondered what she was thinking about earlier. When his Mistress' sister had taken over.

Nileve glanced over at Remus. She raised an eyebrow as in a silent way of saying,"Yes?"

Remus sent her a thought,"I will apologize again for my Mistress's behavior before."

Nileve smiled, and replied,"No worries."

Remus nodded his thanks as they came upon the burning town.
