Tony snapped his phone shut, and walked back in. He knew Anili probably wasn't gonna be happy about what he had to say.

Bill raised an eyebrow at the expression on Tony's face, "Who was that?"

Tony said, "A friend of mine who works at the adoption center."

Tony said, "Anili's guardians filed a release for her. Well, Shino did. Turns out that their moving tomorrow too. Bard got a nice job in Canada as a horse breeder."

Anili wasn't surprised about Shino filing the release. They never got along. But the fact that Bard hadn't done anything, and was leaving her behind left her a little shocked. But she didn't show it, her face hard as usually.
