The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13] Empty The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13]

Post  s o f t ♥ l u l l a b y 29th May 2011, 11:46 pm

The Children’s Cure for Insanity; an asylum that has a bad habit of false advertising. Children and teenagers are shipped off to the mental ward with or without parental consent, promising the guardians, or authorities, that they will cure the minor’s “temporary state”. But, in reality, they make their “condition” all the more worse. A few beatings, measly meals, and that’s only if you obey them on a regular bases. The consequences are far worse if you do anything to upset a handler, guard, or “doctor”.

The “doctors” have grown a bit tired of just playing with the patient’s heads, and have devised a much sicker plan for the children and teenagers.

They have infiltrated the patient's minds, putting them into a deep coma, and creating a twisted, medieval-like land in which all the patients are trapped together in. It’s a real nightmare. If you are hit, you can physically feel it. If you are killed, you don’t wake up.

The doctors have arranged a deal; if the patients can defeat their biggest threat, a corrupted queen who has sent her knights and soldiers out to end the patients prematurely, they are awoken and set free. If not, then they have no choice but to succumb to their fate.

You only have one shot in this world of insanity.

Rules;;

1.) This story is set in a dark land, similar to a gothic version of "Alice in Wonderland".

2.) Cursing allowed, but keep it as infrequent as you can. I expect the “a” world to look like “a*s”, the “b” word to look like “b***h” and “b*stard”, and the “s” word to look like “sh*t”. No using of the “f” word, as there are little kiddies.

3.) Killing allowed, so expect a little blood and gore. Remember, some. But, not too much, so we do not scare any younger users.

4.) Be descriptive. I understand that some people go through writer’s block; hey, I’m the exact same way! But, please try to post at least two lines.

5.) Be courteous; I know we all love to RP, but, remember that there may be other players. Try not to go beyond four pages of back-to-back RPing, but if you do, I expect those responsible to come up with a decent summary for those who were out for the time being.

6.) No god-modding. God-modding is just plain annoying, and it takes the fun out of RPing. So, you will get up to three warnings before you are kicked out of my RP.

7.) No sex. Romance allowed, as well as a bit of suggestive dialogue [that doesn’t exceed the PG-13 rating], but no sex.

8.) Please keep the patients between the ages of 5-19.

9.) Send all applications to me entitled, “Insanity is a State of Mind”.

10.) Have a jolly good time! :DD

The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13] Empty Re: The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13]

Bambina groaned, sitting up and rubbing her head. For some reason, her entire body was aching. She disregarded this, standing up. She yawned, opening her eyes and expecting to see the white walls that confined her, but she only saw a dark, looming night sky, and dead, grassy plain. She gasped, stepping back into her best friend.

Rosaline grunted when the small girl stepped on her foot, glaring at her, before her attention was drawn toward the plains. She raised an eyebrow, a scowl on her face, but curiousity was shown in her eyes.

Sara hid behind the two girls, very afraid of the new setting. She pinched her skin to calm herself.

Alexander was less preoccupied with being out in the open, and more preoccupied with the patient's outfits. One tiny girl was wearing a longsleeved white shirt and skirt, which were both bloodstained. Another tall, dark looking girl was wearing a soaked black dress and boots. A young girl, probably of the age of five, was wearing a spotless white dress, but a dress that showed off her pinches, scratches and bruises. He knew nothing of these girls, but was intrigued by them. They were much better then him, in his baggy clothes that did no good in hiding his fat.

(ooc: really, alexander is just skin&bones. oh, & every patient is wearing the outfit that they arrived in the asylum in.)

The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13] Empty Re: The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13]

Amelia rubbed her forehead, trying to convince herself that this wasn't an illusion. She whispered silently to her favorite story character, "Looks like I might have made the Forefright list after all, Nil. Could need a bit of you here."

Amelia knew that Nileve wasn't really. She never really saw the person, Nileve, or any of her other characters. She could picture it, but it wasn't ever really realistic, like someone who was really schizo. Amelia mainly talked to Nileve because, well, Nileve was who she wanted to be, but wasn't, though she knew Nileve was out of reach. But Nileve was responsible and reliably, qualities that Amelia sometimes let slip. She needed Nileve sometimes to act as her voice of reason. But that never meant she was real.

Leaving the matter of Nileve behind, Amelia dusted off the red topped, white bottomed dress. She didn't remember where she got it, but it really didn't matter now. She didn't know why she dusted off the dress either. It wasn't really dirty or anything.

Glancing around, Amelia studied her surroundings and the people nearby. She wondered if anyone had heard her talking to herself, but she decided it wouldn't matter until later. Unless, that is, it got her in some sort of trouble. She rolled her eyes, saying softly, "And that's just what I need right now... "

Onyxx awoke to the feel of dry grass on her skin, the earth picking at her drying scabs as she sat up. She got to her feet, and looked around, eyes wide. There were others, and for some reason, this place scared her more than the asylum. At least there, she knew what to expect, and it was all the same. She looked at all the others, she was dressed in a black dress.(See her picture.)

Meca stood up, brushing himself off before looking around.
"Hey,whats going on?" Ocean asked inside his mind.
"Why would this idiot know?Rage snarled at Ocean.
Freedom grinned, and piped up."Now boys, play nice!"
"Will you all just shut up?" Tears sighed.
"Ohhh, goth girl speaks!"
"Rage, be nice, please!"Serenity smiled at everyone inside Meca's mind.
"And I'm not goth!"

Crash stood up, his red eyes searching the others for a moment, his silver hair catching a small amount of light and refracting it back. His silver chain did the same, the one around his neck. He sighed, where was he now?

The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13] Empty Re: The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13]

Amelia risked saying something loud enough for everyone in the area to hear. She knew it was a little out of character, but, well, she thought she was dreaming at the moment and someone needed to say something, "So, anyone want to guess where we are?" She took a step closer to the group, hoping for a logical answer, though she doutbed she'd get one.

Rosaline frowned, and quickly deadpanned, "Hell?"

Bambina tilted her head to the side, and quickly shook her head. She innocently answered, "It doesn't look like hell . . . ?"

Rosaline glared at her fiercely, not even bothering to say, 'You're not helping.'

Alexander crossed his arms over his chest, shrugging his shoulders without saying a word.

Sara hugged herself tightly, finding herself to be scared by the sudden change of scene. She scratched her arms, irritating her pale skin. Bambina stared over at her, sympathy plain in her eyes.

The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13] Empty Re: The Children's Cure for Insanity - [PG-13]

Post  amelias-hart 31st May 2011, 9:00 am

Amelia said with a hint of awe, "It looks like an extremely real dream. Almost like someone took an abstract painting and let a bunch of landscape paintings of all different kinds grow out of it." She clapped her hands together, "I say we explore. No use standing around in the open." Amelia, while typically very timid around new people, had inherited many leadership qualities. They rarely came out because of her shyness, but she still believed this dream and that none of these people were real.

((ooc: Kristy, please put up my other characters, Crash and Meca, after you accepted them.))

Rage spoke up, though Meca tried to push him down."I agree with the girl. This is hell." Serenity sighed, and spoke up."Oh hush, will you Rage? Hi everyone!" Meca sighed,"You guys aren't helping. Just shut up."
