The Last Stand (PG-13)

Okie nodded, and said, "The reras are not loved in my homeland either...we have collected a...sinister reputation." He was thinking about all the blood shed that the reras had created...the mightiest pawns of Gallerim. He shook the thought.

Siree nodded,"Well then,different historys,same look..... Well,almost the same..."

Okie lowered his wings a little, and said, "Maybe I can talk to Rimmon about the Yormar, and she could pass a law for your people's safety." He didn't know if Rimmon would listen to him at the moment, but these people had to live in the bounds of Roran, which made them her responsibility to protect. She would at least be able to see the sense in that.

"Rimmon? Whats that?"Siree asked,tilting his head. No one in the Dulin had been out for a while,and news above ground didnt spread very fast unless ir had to do with the Yormars.

Okie started walking towards the castle, but said over his shoulder, "She is the queen of Roran now."

"I meant who.... Sorry..."Siree was slightly embarrassed by his mishap.

Okie replied, "I don't think that that sorry belongs to be." He grinned, and kept walking.

Siree chuckled,running his fingers through his hair."I assume youre right."

Okie said, "Why don't you let your wings out, and if anyone asks for the while, I'll tell them you're a sick rera." He was teasing about the sick part, but he was sure that the boy's wings were hurting. He would defend the boy if anyone did ask.

Siree nodded,"Sick? Wheres that part come in from?" He chuckled,but stretched his wings out. You could hear the tendons popping,and the bones stretching into position.

Okie said, "You look slimmer than me, like a rera on an over-used diet." He grinned, reaching the stables.

The Yormar rolled his eyes,"We are built more like the bird,for speed and easier on our wings. Not just a human or elf with wings."He grinned at the boy with a teasing smirk.

Okie teased, "So my excuse will work then."

Siree rolled his eyes but grinned,"Well besides,we dont get a lot to eat.... Its a hard life to live underground with maybe fifty Yormars who only a few of those go above ground to get food."

Okie looked away, though he was grinning, "Alright, we're going with food deprived, sick rera."

Siree rolled his eyes,"Well then..." He wasnt to bad off,as Yormars didnt have to eat a lot,and you NEVER would see a fat Yormar. Their body wouldnt allow it,and their wings would disappear.

Okie had seen plenty of fat reras in his time, after the Seals were broken, at least. They sat down, and gorged themselves on everything. It was a wonder they could still fly.

If a Yormar got fat,they would either become plain human or elf,it depended on the race that was nearest to them at the time,so that they would blend in.

Okie stabled Ikica's horse, one next to the rest of the Amorian horses.

Siree nodded,"Alright,now where to,healthy Rera?" He grinned.

Okie laughed, and said, "You can call me Okie, but into the castle, I propose."

"Siree,at your service."The Yormar grinned,"Lead the way,Okie."

Okie smiled, and headed through the castle. He tried to search for Rimmon's aura, as well as Juno and Ikica's.

Rasra found Okie first,she gave him a quick frown upon seeing him,but raised an eyebrow at the boy beside him."Good,theres a meeting in the Throne Room of all the Guardians...." Rasra was truly
unhappy about the current situation between Okie and her sister,but she wouldnt voice her opinion just yet. If it came to it,she needed all that she could in the army to defeat that son of a beach. The Dark One. She knew the battle was looming nearer and nearer by the moment.

Rimmon was searching for the others,she walked out into the forest. She noticed Mrale,the boy that had helped save the burning orphanage and village. He had been badly injured,and no one had noticed because they had run off to help others. She sat herself down next to him,and told him about the meeting in the Throne Room.

Okie knew that the look was for the resent events between Rimmon and himself. But he didn't want to bring it up. He said, "Alright. Thank you, Rasra."
