Drew glanced at the Fire Guardian. He didn't saw anything, or give him a cross look, but he wish the boy hadn't said anything. They had no experience in this world. For now, chance or no chance, their guide had the most experience with the creatures here, whether they could risk confronting them or not.

Skyelark halted, turning to face Meca, eyes narrowed. She pulled down the shoulder of her lilac dress a little to show a deep, light pink scar, "I was attacked by a herd of L'okiki, animals that have white fleece, and wide eyes. They seem adorable, yes, but they are deadly. They blinded my youngest sister, about Grey's age," She nodded to the young girl, then she pulled up her tight leggings, to show three scars in the shape of claw marks, "This is a scar from the M'geoltin. About the size of a horse, and appears to look like one, except they have long, thick claws instead of hooves. There are many more scars some of my people have gotten from the animals in this forest. Not all of them are evil, some just defend themselves, some do not figth at al, but, it is better that we avoid them then to allow someone to get hurt. I do not want any of you to be muted, blinded, or scarred by any of the animals here. It is better to take caution, then to be killed. That is why I want you all to consult with me before you communicate with any of them."

She turned again, and continued, before pointing to a bird-like creature, black as the night, with haunting red eyes, "That is a non-toxic, but fiesty, sometimes misunderstood animal. Will not hurt you, but will show you who is boss if necessary. There are many animals like that as well. There are many gentle animals. But there are also dangerous animals."

Grey squirmed on Drew's back, and he gasped for air again as she leaned back on his throat. He popped her again with the wind, and she sat still.

"Well, technically, it was just as much their territory as it was yours. If you treat something as though it were a dangerous and angry creature, it will become an angry and dangerous creature." Meca said, sticking to his idea. He didnt plan on touching any of the creatures, but he still didnt think that all of them were as evil as she made them out to be.

((OOC: I really want Meca to befriend an aggressive creature.. >:} But well, if not, he has his dragon. Which he will find soon enough, if a huge creature attacks. Hint Hint, you should make that happen... Hint Hint. XD))

"Some are just angry creatures on this planet, fire guardian. It is a natural instinct for some, it is almost as if they know how their breed acts, and they will act on just as their breed." she snapped, "Some creatures are just evil, and that is the way it is. Some kill mercissely. Some don't kill at all! You do not understand that they . . . "

She cut herself off, amethyst eyes widening as she heard the sound of earth crunching beneath large feet.

In the distance, an animal, a light blue-gray in color, stood, preparing to charge. It was tall, at least fifteen feet, and looked as if it could crush a wall of the castle. Two tusks grew from either side of it's cheeks, one on the top of it's head, and one on the center of it's spine. It had sharp, long teeth, and the look in it's eyes was unmistakable; blood lust.

Skyelark managed to weakly call out as it began to charge, "Run. Run!"

Drew didn't like running, but he had Grey. He said, "Hold on." The girl gripped harder, and he launched up into the air, hovering above the tree tops.

Meca pushed Naida up, practically throwing her into the air, which might take some time on his part. But he also knew the look in the creature's eye, one he knew well himself. It was a form of anger, though despair creeped along in it, and suddenly, Meca felt a tug towards the creature. Just a small one. Like he wanted to help it, and briefly, Meca wondered, if the creature had a family.

Naida squeaked in horror, clinging despearately to Meca, and panting heavily, squeezing her eyes shut. She couldn't breathe too well, it was almost a challenge to get the oxygen into her lungs, but she ignored this, and only prayed that they would be kept safe.

Cayden looked at Arbor, eyes fearful, and said, leaping into the air, wings flapping, "C'mon, man, run! Fly!"

Skyelark leapt into a tree, perching herself on it, waiting for the creature to come over, wishing the knot in her stomach would fade away.

Abor couldn't see what was going on, his eyes had gotten steadily worse as they had been walking, and since he couldn't put the needed drops in his eyes to help keep them see-able, or take his medication, he couldnt see at all. He looked around wildly, and flapped his wings in distress, not knowing where to go. He moved forward slowly, and felt the rough bark of a tree, so he gripped it, wrapping his arms around it.

Meca practically growled,"Naida, get up there!!" And tried to get her up higher as the beast charged forward.

"Not without you!" she yelled back, trying her best to resist his strength, despite the fact that she wasn't as strong or tall, "That thing's gonna kill you if you keep standing here, and I'm not gonna let that happen! Be a stubborn a*s some other time, please, we can't afford to lose you! I can't afford to lose you!"

Cayden looked back worriedly at Arbor, but kept flying. As long as he was in the air, he was momentarily safe.

Meca looked up at Drew, his eyes slightly pleading. He growled in her ear,"Ill be fine. Dont worry about me, now get your a** up in that tree!!" And he pushed, trying to boost her into the tree. He had a plan, and that plan involved himself and trying something he had never thought possible.

At first Naida tried to resist, but, her grip from Meca was torn and she flew up into the branch of a tree. She gasped when one caught onto her wing, clenching her eyes shut and tenderly remooving the branch. She winced when red began to drip, slightly, slowly. She just clutched onto the tree, holding onto the trunk, hoping Meca wouldn't kill himself.

Meca turned to face the creature, his eyes glowing like burning embers, and ready for anything to happen. One hand moved to his pendant, a natural reaction, though his hand was not on fire, but was still quite warm. The dragon wrapped around it seemed to move slightly, but it was cold, which wasnt normal, it should be warm since it was near him. But it was almost like it needed more warmth to warm it up, to make it the right temperature, but he didnt, he just stared the creature down. His eyes saying all he needed to say.

The creature continued charging, and was soon only a mere fifty feet from the fireguardian. Blood lust, rage, and, possibly, sadness, shone in it's coal-black eyes. Closer, closer it came.

Meca closed his eyes, the fire dying out of his eyes, and no fear in his stance. The creature was closing in, but when Meca opened his eyes, and began to walk slowly toward the creature, his hands out in front of him, palms up to show he meant no harm.

Meca looked up at the large animal, a small smirk appearing on his face."Boo." He teased, looking into the great beast's black eyes."I know you... You're not so bad. Just misunderstood. Alone, and left. But youre not so bad, youre thought to be horrible and ruthless, not caring for anything, but I know better. But that can be out little secret." Meca whispered to the creature.
