ALTER EGOS (PG-13)

Di looked at X, "I just broke them. What are you talking about?" Dylan seemed a bit confused though, staring at the distance between the remaining chain.

Travis just about reached their target when one of the legs snapped. He pulled the control back, and started flipping safety switches as they rolled to a stop in front of Fox. She wasn't even looking, but her second gun was facing behind. Travis sighed, and dropped his head.

X blinked and then realized Di had already freed Dylan from the cuffs, "Oh." He shrugged, "Blood loss, you left my hand sitting there right?"

Di said, "Fox shot it with a real bullet. It's probably useless by now." She tore off a stand of her shirt, "I'll wrap it, and get you a better one soon."

Bell shot out the top of the pod, and growled, "Fox!" The general didn't move.

General T said, "Who are your freinds?"

X shook his head, "It was that one stupid equation!"

Dylan looked up, "What?"

Bell growled, "Fox! Lower your gun, now." Fox growled, "Make me, Bell." Bell said, "Give me one reason why you should shot him?" Fox replied, "He pisses me off, that's why."

General T smiled, "You bet I do, it's part of the job." El jumped out of the spider thing and said, "T cut it out, she really would shoot you!"

X sighed, "It's a long story."

Dylan said, "No, the equation. What was it?" Di groaned.

Fox replied, "Heck, yeah, I will!" She would have said something worse, but children read this.

X laughed, "Like I would remeber the one thing I over looked. I don't know, a variation of E=mc squared."

Dylan was about to reply when Di shove her arm in his face. He groaned, and turned off the weapons system with a groaned. Di rolled her eyes at him, and slide the cover on.

X looked at the two cover up agents, "Can we go now?"

Fox said, "Forget this!" With that, she fired.

Di activated the warping technology to where Fox was. Dylan stood in the area, and warped along with her. Di's bionic hand came just in Fox's line of fire. She screamed in pain, the electronic nervous system running into her actually body. But the bullet fell short of its course.

T had ducked when he heard the bullet fire, but jumped in suprise when Di screamed.

Fox growled, "Get out of my range, Di." Di ignored the pain for a moment, "Hoster it, now." Fox glared, but did holster her guns.

X glared at T, who gave him a questioning look. El had shrunk back against the wall on hearing the fired gun.

Aynu walked over to the rest of her team, eyeing the parniod Dylan.

T stood up cautiously, "X dial the pentagon, get them to clear this thing up." X nodded and pulled out a phone.

Di said, "First, we need to get him to a medic."

X dialed the number anyway, it was a little tricky but he figured it out, "We have a code 7delta 4roger." El raised her eyebrows, no one ever used that code.

Di shut the power off on her arm. She pulled the broken hand off, leaving the rest on as she rebooted it.

Soul sighed,she felt restless. Misao was asleep because visions tried her out,so she had fallen asleep. Soul took off into the air,looking around.((hint hint,get me in on the plot now please.))

X rolled his eyes, "Jeff get me someone with a clearance code higher than 5 ok." The line was silent for a moment and then he put the phone on speaker.

ooc: My three characters are involved in a training progeam for the cover up team and right now everyone is at the cover base in Area 51.

Di said, "Travis, Dylan, get this pile back to the base. Keep it low, and look out for airal eyes." Both nodded, and set off with a low groan from Travis.

A voice on X's phone crackled, "Where's the Cover Up progam leader?"

Soul saw some people down below,and swooped down,landing quietly beside them.

Dylan stared, his mind running with the possiblities of explantions for this she-bird. Travis rolled his eyes.

Di said, "Present."
