Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Drew growled at Grey. This was not the time for her to squirm.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
The beast's breathing slowly started to calm, but was still heavy. His eyes looked a little bit softer now. His body slowly started to relax, and it seemed, almost as if the giant creature was at peace.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Drew was tempted to give a sharp remark, but held it back. He was thinking, "Beauty and the Beast" but he restrained himself. Nice work, grown man.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
((OOC: Which ones the beauty? Answer carefully,Air Head. ~Meca XD ))
Meca grinned up at him, reach a hand out, to touch him. Though probably the only thing that he could reach would be its ankle. Yes, he knew it. All of the animals weren't bad just misunderstood. Like many things... Like him.

The beast did not react, but stayed it's position, breathing slowly getting lighter, calmer, more serene.
Skyelark's eyes widened in amazement. It was too unreal. She paused, then crossed her arms over her chest. She supposed talking a calmer approach to the animals was better then running away, as her clan had done over and over again, for many decades.
Naida stared at the animal, then at Meca, shocked.

ooc: ... ~ Drew CAN I ANSWER?! ~ Grey
Drew looked at the boy. He wasn't actually all that surprised at this fact. He figured the boy would do something like that.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
The beast breathed evenly, stepping toward Meca, and rubbing his head against him, almost like a cat would to it's owner.
Naida's eyes widened, and she clamped a hand over her mouth to hide her never ending giggles. She looked at Cayden to find him doing the same thing, and Skyelark was staring, jaw slightly dropped.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Meca chuckled, almost getting knocked over. He patted the creatures head and grinned up at Naida and Skyelark. He knuckled his head, and chuckled to himself as he once again almost got knocked over.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
The beast pulled away from Meca, staring at him for a moment, and his eyes shone. Gratitude, thanks, whatever it was, it was strong in his eyes. He stomped away, stalking off in a different direction. It looked back briefly, playfully snorted, then continued off into the shadows.
Once it was safe, Naida jumped down from her perch, running toward her friend, a broad grin on her face.
Skyelark jumped off as well, but stood back, with a small smile.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Drew shook his head, gasping again as Grey tried to look of his shoulder, but slipped backwards.

Meca waved to it as it disappeared, then looked at Skyelark, and didnt say anything, but his eyes read,"Never judge a book by its cover." Then he smirked at Naida,"What did I tell you? Im fine."

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Drew said, "So, are you going to name your pet, or will you think of one while we walk?" His patience was out now.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
She looked back at Drew, then at Meca, smile dropping, gently smacking his arm, "Don't you ever do that again, you big meanie! You scared the living heck out of me!"
Then, she threw her arms around him in a tight embrace, and as she pulled back, crossed her arms over her chest and grinned, "But that was really brave of you. And stupid. Brave, but stupid."
Skyelark smirked to herself, shaking her head, and saying under her breath, "My, oh my. Impressive, fire warrior. If only you could tame the king like that."

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Whether or not Drew was impressed, he did not reveal it, nor did he have the intent. He wanted them to keep moving.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
"Air Head, next time we see one of them, and they dont yet know that they can be nice, I would like to see you approach it."Meca rolled his eyes, patting Naida's back awkwardly.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
(OOC: not bambi, venga. xD say it with kristy, "NAIDA. NAY. DA." xD)
Naida put a hand over her mouth, giggling slightly, and nodding her head.
Skyelark stared at Meca for a moment, before saying, "I'll be the first to say, I was wrong. I'll inform my clan to take a calmer approach, instead of running away. Thank you."

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
With a light eyeroll and smirk, Skyelark said, "Perhaps we should get back to going where the princess may be?"
She turned, gesturing with her hand for them to follow as she made her way down the forest, once again.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Drew glided after the elf, not caring what the fire guardian could come up with to retort to him.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Meca rolled his eyes, the boy wasnt worth his time. And besides, it was common knowledge that the Air Head wouldnt have enough patience or courage to stand up to the creature.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Drew landed, and Grey titled back again on his neck. He groaned as she pulled herself up straight again. He said to her, "You really need to start walking if this is going to be regular." She giggled.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Skyelark drifted through the trees, following down a faint, and fast fading path. She knew this road all to well, and while in her heart, she was well aware that the princess was here, she hoped she was wrong. Very wrong, indeed. Her eyes flickered in the shadows, as she took a deep breath.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Other than when Grey slipped on his back, Drew had no problems keeping up with Skyelark. He was naturally fast paced.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
(OOC: i'm going to pick this up a little, so, it's around sunset now.)
Skyelark continued onward, leading them through, still walking even in the high noon, even as she sun began to slip below the horizon, the sky painted a brilliant orange and pink hues, almost like an earthen sunset, but more beautiful, more natural.
But, her pleasant feeling didn't last to long, because come sunset, they had reached their destination. She paused, stiffened, and stared at the city that laid before them. It was bustling, but the people did not look friendly. Many wore black, shiny armor or breast plates, and they were shoving weak peasants and slaves forward, throughout the town. Children laid in the dirt street, crying softly, and avoiding the rath of loose horses. It smelt of smoke, and, if evil would have a smell, this was surely it.
"We're in Zahra's main city; Eerolloc. It is where the corruption began. It was the king's favorite city, one of the most diverse, yet peaceful . . . but now, it is a city of fear." Skyelark growled as she stared at the crowds, amethyst eyes narrowed, "But the princess must be here. It is the most perfect, unexpected place for a kind woman to hide, is it not?"
Without allowing anyone to answer, she walked toward the town, glaring at each passerbyer.

Re: The Elements (PG-13)
Drew lowered his wings. He had seen many depressing things, and this reminded him of them. He sighed, and followed the elf.
