Wild Horse PG-13

Twilight flew into the sunlight, his wings pounding. He grinned at the horse.

Wind was right underneath the wolf as they burst into the sunlight,Wind blinked and looked up. It was so bright compared to the dusty cave.

Storm thundered out into the sunlight soon after Wind.

Shadow and Soie left the cave last. The leopard dashed ahead to get to the mares.

Twilight beat his wings, smoothly sailing in the wind.

Wind cantered off towards the mares,Star and Storm a little ways behind him.

Azane looked up as the stallions neared. She smiled, and whinned.

Wind raced towards her,flying out over the ground,well seeming to fly. In truth,he was just sometimes lifting off the ground.

Twilight laughed, and landed just ahead of the horse.

Azane smiled, and raced towards her mate.

Star trotted towards Cherry and nuzzled her.

Storm laid down under the tree.

Wind nuzzled his mate and smiled.

Twilight sat down in the middle of it all.

Azane nuzzled her mate back,"You're safe."

"Of course."He smiled playfully,and Shadow Breeze came bounding up. She grinned up at them both.

Azane smiled, and nuzzled her daughter, who giggled as she did.

Wind nuzzled them both,and then looked over at Storm. He whispered to his mate,"Im worried about him."

Azane turned to look at the colt, and said to her mate,"Simi has taken a liking to Kiola, but I don't doubt she would adopt him too." She turned to Wind,"Less you do."

"Id like to,but I think that he thinks he wants to be alone.... Although he craves for companionship. I dont know what happened to him back in that heck hole,but I doubt hell want to talk about it."Wind said quietly.

Azane said,"He'll talk to you. I know it. Maybe he just needs someone who understands him. Another horse?"

"Possibly....."Wind looked up to see Storm looking at them. Wind walked over to him quietly,and stood beside him."Storm,"He started,"I dont know what happened to you,or why your alone. But Im glad you decided to come with us."

Storm nodded,"A story that Im not fond of telling."

Wind nodded,"I understand if you dont want to tell me."

"Good.'Storm turned his head,and laid it down.

Azane sighed, and sat next to Simi. The elderly horse smiled at the company. Azane knew what was on her mind. Seeing them again brought back the thought of Rio.

Wind left Storm lying there and sat down next to Azane. He smiled at Simi.

Simi smiled,"Wind...Azane...my vision is failing...I hate to ask, but is there a horse that could help me with my seeing."

Storm looked up. He had often had to describe scenes for his mother,as her sight was failing her as well. He stood up quietly,and walked over. "If you want. I may be able to describe things for you."He offered.

Simi looked up,"You would! Thank you, Storm, thank you." The white mare stood up, her pale blue eyes not as bad as they could be. But day by day, they were getting worse.

Storm half smiled bashfully."Your welcome Simi. Id be glad to help you."

Simi said,"Well, don't worry about me just now. I'm tired, running is harder now. You enjoy yourself while you can." She smiled, and laid down.

Storm nodded,but all he did was go back and lay down under the tree.

Breeze bounced up, dashing in and out amoung the trees.
