CAPTURE THE FLAG (PG-13)

Bambi tugged at her necklace chain, warily following the dot in which was in front of her. She swallowed, her throat dry. She was sure her voice would be hoarse the next time she spoke. Though, she didn't quite care.

Shadow stopped and turned on his flashlight to reveal the scene in front of them. They had entered a cave, and had apparently gone pretty far inside because you couldn't see any outside light. Jason sat against one of the walls, "We'll sleep here."

Bambi's eyes widened at the dark place. She scratched the back of her neck sheepishly.
"O-Okay." she replied as steadily as possible, sitting down on the floor and hugging her knees to her chest.

Lucy sat down and closed her eyes, if she kept them closed she wouldn't have to see the darkness around her.

Bambi laid down on her back, staring at the darkness above.
"What time do we have to get up, Jason?" she asked, putting her hands behind her head.

Jason sighed,"before the sun rises."

Bambi scowled.
"Why so early?" she asked.

Jason smiled in the dark, "Because I'm evil that way."

Bambi sat up, narrowing her eyes.
"Hate. You." she said, her voice filled with malice, and an edge of playfulness.

Jason laughed, "Join the club."

Bambi couldn't help but snicker.
"I'll look into it. Do they have any pins I can buy? Any anti-Jason pins, to be specific?" she asked, smirking.

"Go to sleep." He slumped down against the rock and closed his eyes.

She smirked, lying back down, against the hard rock floor.
Bambi stared at the cieling for a long time until her eyelids began drooping. She could feel herself drifting into unconsciousness as she rolled over onto her side, her eyes sliding shut and going to sleep. Soft, nearly silent snores escaped from her mouth every now and again, her face serene and peaceful.

Shadow spent the night starring at the entrence to the cave, watching for intruders.

Bambi found her dreams actually...odd. There was nothing. Just a long meadow. A peaceful meadow. The grass on the hills would sway back and forth. Just serenity and peace. Not quite like her other dreams.

Shadow woke Jason up and pointed to the cave entrence. Jason stood up sleepily and walked to teh entrance, instantly he was awake. Where there had been an opening there was now a big pile of rocks.

Bambi rolled over in her sleep, waking up when she heard footsteps from her fellow comrads. She sat up and blinked, struggling to see in the darkness. A few momments later she regained her vision, gasping at what she saw. She bounded up, waving her hands franticly.
"What happened?!" Bambi questioned.

Jason motioned for her to calm down and be quiet, because he didn't want to wake Lucy. Then over the radio he said, "Some one knows we're here."

Bambi glared at him.
"No duh!" she said into the headset. Bambi slowly started to calm down. Once she thought that she was okay she asked a question that had been nagging at her.
"What do we do?"

Jason thought for a moment and Shadow made a motion. He motioned for them to move the rocks out of teh way. Jason nodded, "We'll have to try what Shadow suggests until we can think of something."

Bambi took a deep breath and nodded.
"Alright, let's get started." she said, standing on her tip toes and picking from the top. She had...an expirenced the consequences from picking at the bottom of a stack as a child. Those oranges had given her a few bruises that lasted a couple of weeks. Not a good time in her life.

Lucy woke and looked at the big stack of rocks in the door way. Quietly she fumbled around in her bag and pulled out a little lantern. She turned it on, "You guys want some light?"

Bambi smiled.
"Sorry to wake you, and yes, that would be wonderful." she replied, moving a strand of hair behind her ear and getting back to work on the large pile. She pushed rocks down the pile, hoping that they would get out soon.

Lucy jumped upa nd started helping. Slowly but surely the pile got smaller, they could still only see rocks though.

Bambi grinned.
"Good job, guys, I think if we work a little while longer, we'll be able to break through." she encouraged, stopping for a momment to catch her breath, and continuing yet again.
