Azane nuzzled her mate, keeping her eyes off the wound on his leg.

Wind nuzzled her back,feeling the uneasiness coming from her.

Azane smiled,"Let's go."

Wind nodded,and trotted off towards the designated sleeping area.

Azane, with Breeze and Kiola running by her, trotted after Wind.

Snow and Shadow followed, Snow keeping an eye on Simi as she trotted after them.

Storm followed at a slow walk.

Azane pushed aside the brush, and watched as the playful spirit of Breeze quickly died off. The little horse was soon asleep. Azane smiled, and lied down with her daughter.

Kiola shook his mane, and fell asleep standing.

Snow helped Simi down, and slept beside the older horse.

Shadow remained standing, awake, and watching.

Storm was about to stand next to Shadow,but Wind waved him on. Storm went to stand beside Simi,and soon lay down and fell asleep next to the older horse.

Wind stood alert and watching quietly next to Shadow.

Shadow said, "Where are the other two elderly horses? The former herd leaders?"

"Star and Cherry??"Wind asked,and pointed his nose over to the two older horses.

Shadow nodded, and looked back. He was restless.

"Why??'Wind asked him.

Shadow replied, "I just wanted to make sure they were accounted for."

Wind nodded,then he checked and suddenly realized what he had seen was clumps of grass,the older horses were missing!

Shadow looked, and saw the horse's concern. He turned, and raced. He scented the air.

Star and Cherry were forced back,doped up,but still forced to run ahead of the humans.


Wind tried to find them,and nudged Azane,"Cherry and Star are gone!!"he murmured to her urgently.

Azane leapt to her hooves, Kiola and Breeze up next.

Storm sat up,and nudged Simi.

Simi blinked her eyes, and shook her mane. She stumbled to her feet.

((ooc:Bringing in my actual mare,and stallion that died. So dont laugh at her obvious name.))

Wind sniffed the air,hoping for some scent.

ooc: No, I think it's sweet.

Shadow snorted, and pawed the ground. He said, "If you have any tricks, now is the time to use them."

Scorn pushed the old horses faster,Star and Cherry trying. Suddenly,the bushes rustled,and Scorn turned his black head,then shrugged it off. Two horses burst into,a mare and a stallion. The stallion was the color of a shiny new copper penny,and had four white stockings and a wide blaze. The mare was a deeper roam chestnut with three white socks. They burst right into the horses,causing an opening for the old horses to escape,which they took gladly,then the two disappeared after them.

Shadow snorted, and pawed the ground.

Soon Star and Cherry were trotting back. Cindy and Coosa following them.
