The Last Stand (PG-13)

Before Bambi knew what she was saying, it slid out of her mouth. Dang. She'd have to learn how to hold her tongue around him.
"Well, not it, really. It's you that makes me smile." she responded. When the words had sunk in, her eyes widened and her cheeks went from ivory, to a light pink. She scratched the back of her neck, laughing nervously. Why did she always fumble for words?

"I haven't used a bow in a while,archery practice is fine by me." Rimmon smiled.

Meca grinned."She talks!!"He chuckled.

Bambi smiled and playfully scoffed, lightly punching his shoulder.
"Yeah! And I can hit too!" she joked, laughing.

He winced in mock pain and rubbed his shoulder.
"Smarty pants...."He teased.

She leaned back and smirked.
"Yup, that's what I do. Get used to it." she was surprised by her confidence when she winked and giggled.
"Aw, don't tell me I hurt you." she joked, tenderly poking his arm.

Suddenly he grinned,"I think....."He looked behind her,and grinned as he saw something.


Miro grinned back in his lion way,then lept forward,claws sheathed. And landed on Bambi,with a rumbling laugh.

Bambi had wore a skeptical look at his mysterious grin, but before she could point an accusing finger, she turned her head toward his gaze. The lion she had slightly feared was jumping at her. She shrieked as it landed on her and laughed in it's lion...ish way, panting to herself. She mock glared at Meca, blowing a strand of bang out of her face.
"And you did not tell me he was coming why?" she asked, surpressing a chuckle. Even though she was the one who was pranked, she too found this amusing.

He stood like it was obvious,and very diva like as he teased her."Like,because,you,like,hit,like,me!"He said in a falsetto voice,his eyes twinkling mischievously.

Bambi shared the mischevious twinkle and she broke out into a grin.
"Well, if you weren't such a little sensitive thing, you'd be fine." she laughed, shaking her head. Bambi smiled a nervous smile.
"So, uh, can'ya get him off?"

"Thats up to him."Meca said with s grin.

Miro told her,"Say please."

Bambi looked up at the lion, smiling and giggling.
"Er, please?" she asked politely.

"Very well."He said,projecting the words the Meca and Bambi. Which took a little more energy,but still.

Bambi gave a nod of thanks, then playfully glared at Meca, sticking out her tongue.
"You know, I should get an animal to pounce on you, now, mister diva." she grinned, then crossed her arms.

Meca thought to Miro,"Watch out for Arella,her wolf."Then turned back to Bambi with a grin."Unlikely."

Miro sat down and looked around.

Bambi smiled.
"It could happen." she said defensively. She looked at her palms, and cleared her throat.
"So, Meca...is it okay if I ask you something? About your past?" Bambi asked, a little nervous.

Arella arched her body like a cat's and sniffed, deciding she should go back to where the others were. She kept her nose to the ground and walked, following the scent of the people she had earlier associated with.

Nileve laughed, her voice merry, and light. Though you could tell deep in her, worry pressed her. She head for the rebuilt shotting range in the village.

Twilight tired of waiting for special horse, and his wolves. He changed back to his normal state, and went to look for Lady Wolf.

".........Okay."Meca said hesitantly.


Remus looked at her curiously.'They are back the other way."He said softly,realizing where she was trying to go.

Rimmon followed her,then when she was beside her she asked."Whats a matter?"

Nileve replied,"Nothing, really. More of a sense of duty that burns in me. But you needn't worry about it."

Bambi took in a deep breath.
"You say you were a servant to the Dark One, correct? When did you actually...begin working?" she asked curiously, her brows knit together in concentration.
"I would assume you weren't there from the start...so...how did you end up there?" she questioned gently. Then a look of pity crossed her face.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to though." she said.

Arella sighed and swiftly nodded her head, following the direction he had advised.

Nileve smiled as she spotted the range. She drew her sword, and it shifted to a bow.

Rimmon looked over at her,slightly confused."How?"

Meca nodded.
"Actually. When I was young,The Dark One found me. He branded me,and that was that."

Bambi shook her head in sympathy.
"That's horrible...but, at least you're free now." she offered a warm smile.

Meca nodded."Very true....."

Bambi smiled and stretched.
"Yup. So, whaddya think we should do now? Everyone's gone off on their own." she said.

He shrugged,"What do you want to do?"
