The Battle For Ever Long((PG-13))

Malruse grinned,and threw down a mana and health potion for the moose.

Phoenix caught them, feeding them to her brother as he charged on.

The bat skimmed easily along,and Malruse grinned. He remembered an old movie called Spirit,in the beginning it started out with an eagle and a horse.

Darisa charged on, not paying attention to the gaint bat above him.

Malruse grinned,suddenly the bat transformed,and Malruse was sitting on a giant eagle. The claws had lengthened out,and become white and golden. The head had slimmed out,and grown longer,and hooked off in a beak. The eyes a golden yellow,and a brown feathered body. The eagle swooped down,and grabbed the moose's fur,and lifted,letting it run through his talons.

Phoenix and Raven poked the eagles with arrows, reminding them they were there.

The eagle suddenly swooped down,and Malruse grinned at them both as he flew beside them.

The two girls aimed their bows playfully at him as Darisa charge on.

Malruse winked at the girl,and brought out a large shield and sword."Now if only Darisa could turn into a winged creature,and we could battle in the air."He winked playfully.

Raven shouted, "Give the boy a break, you already asked for a race."

"Im kidding.... And besides,this isnt a race,is it???"Malruse checked to see his eagle's speed and shrugged.

Phoenix replied, "That's not what he thinks."

"Ohh... Woops..."Malruse said.

Darisa's muscles tensed as he spotted another monster. He slowed, allowing the girls to jump off before shifting back.

The eagle disappeared,and Malruse landed lightly on his feet.

Phoenix and Raven backed up, letting Darisa take this one. He rammed his staff into the monster's head, and it curled up and disappeared. Darisa wobbled on his legs, tired from the run.

Malruse said quietly,casting a spell for energy to Darisa.

Darisa felt a bit more energy, but leaned against a tree, and slide down to a sitting position. He was still tired, just needing to rest for a while.

"Okay then.... We'll rest."Malruse nodded.

Phoenix sat down next to her brother, and Raven leaned against the tree next to them, testing her bow string.

Malruse flipped calmly through the spell book.

Out of no where, Raven slapped her forhead, "Oh, shot!"

"What?'Malruse's head shot up.

Raven said, "I forgot to tell my boss I was moving! Oh, she's gonna kill me!"

"We'll call her later...."Malruse said.
