ALTER EGOS (PG-13)

Di, still holding the knife, sent a power surge that would cancel any power source nearby, on any type of energy. Fox took this chance to shot at the remote. And X's hand.

X heard a crackle as his remote died and then he heard the gun. Actually he saw Fox pull the trigger and he did the math and realized he was trapped. Then a thought hit him. He turned and ran, as fast as he could, which was pretty fast.

Akira easily caught up with X, and wrapped her constricter like tail around him. Di and Fox easily caught up in the cross time.

X fell. He didn't struggle to get, he was reasonable, he knew when he was beat. But the remote sputtered. He heard it whin, collecting its power for one last charge. There was a swirl of purple smoke and nothing. Nothing but a hand. X swore, so this was what that last unfinished equation was telling him, how much power it took to tellaport a whole human. Everything but his left hand was running along side T and El, while his left hand was stuck on the runway.

ooc: poor X he should have done the math . . .

ooc: Yup...

Akira looked at the hand, her reptilian insticits taking over for a second. But just before she could eat it, Fox shot it. Akira sighed as Di sent them on a final warp after the three.

As the trio ran X cried out in pain, "She shot me!" General T smirked, "Was this in the equation?" "Yes but they're following me through the warps, so we have to split." With that the three seperated.

ooc: Oh! I know...

Di signaled her team, "I need alpha team, now."

El was the first to find the controls. She radioed X, "X what's the code? I need it ASAP!"

Akira went after El. She knew that scent best. She easily caught up.

"The code is 225572518," X said carefully into the radio. El punched in the first 4 numbers."

Akira sent her tail out to trip the girl. She hissed, "I should have killed you at my chance."

El never finished typing. X heard a muffled yell and realized they must of found her.

Di didn't followed Akira, or Fox. She was tracking the mad man, X.

Akira hissed, "Petty thing."

Fox tracked T. She hand her guns in hand, and was quiet fast in catching up.

X turned and saw Di coming after him he stopped and let her catch up.

El sat quietly on the floor trying to hide her smile.

"Akira!" Akira heard Bell, but didn't turn around. The gunner came to her side, followed by Travis.

Fox heard Anyu beside her, but ignored the Ripple. She spotted T, and fired a warning shot.

Di caught up with X, Dylan now behind her. The scientist, in his struggle to keep up, was also unlocking the weapon system in Di's bionic arm.

T heard the shot and stopped dead in his tracts, trying to conceal his smile.

Anyu drew her sword as the two caught up. Fox growled, "Don't move."

Di changed her bionic arm into a buzuca, and aimed it at X, "Freeze."

X smiled, "I already have."

T smiled wider than he ever had, "One question, did you catch El yet?"

Di glanced Dylan, and the scientist tried to hand-cuff X. Di slapped her face with her left hand.

Fox glared, "We've got Akira and our top gunner watching her right now."

Akira lashed her tail out at El, raced up, grabbing her at the collar.

El sat still trying to resist the urge to struggle against Akira's tight grasp.

T smiled more, "Then congradulations!"

X held out his hands for Dylan to handcuff.

Akira hissed, "It's useless."

Di growled, "He's only got one hand, Dylan!" Dylan looked at X's arm now, "Well, look at that, he does." Di groaned.

Fox said, "Aynu." Aynu walked forward to cuff him.

X sighed, "Did you happen to see it anywhere? I kind of would like it back."

T said, "You should radio Akira and tell her not to kill El. I think the pentagon would be very disapointed to know she was killed in a training exercise."

Fox didn't lower her gun, "Aynu." The Ripplie didn't stop. Fox replied, "Akira won't. Bell's there with her."

Di said, "Fox shot it, we'll get you a nice fake one like mine once you're back in your crazy cell."

X laughed, "You guys believed that? Wow!"

T smiled, "You don't belive me do you? Call the pentagon, they organized this whole thing. Why do you think you positioned in the same place as Akira?"

Di said, "You need a crazy cell either way, X. You've already been there once."

Fox said, "I don't care. We work past the pentagon, and you'd know that if you were a real pilot." Di wasn't the only hacker.
