ooc: Not posting till Snow does. Slow story again

Soie sat next to Twilight, waiting for Wind to make a move.

"Everyone ready?"Wind asked,a little tired,but it was more just mentally tired.

Sundancer nodded and Remy replied, "All set."

"Good.How about the rest of you?"Wind looked around.

Storm and Breeze nodded,Breeze a little over exuberantly.

Azane nuzzled her mate,"Yes."

Shadow, and Snow nodded. Snow looked at Simi. The white mare had some trouble with catching her breath, but looked fine now. Snow had to admit, the elderly horse had more in her than she let on. A lot of the other horses did, Star, Cherry, Wind, Azane, and Breeze. Kiola seemed to have it, sort of. The colt looked ready to go as ever.

Sundancer yawned and tried not to doze off.

Breeze pranced about, ready to get going.

Azane felt a chill in the air, coming from the plains, like a heat source had gone out. She guessed Twilight's fire had finally died out.

Remy looked at Wind and Azane, "We're ready when you are."

Twilight sent Spirit ahead to find the path. Soie went to watch for the humans.

Wind stood alert,waiting and watching.He had grown powerful,stronger,and wiser since he had begun with Star Night.He looked........exactly that as he stood there,head raised high,a slight breeze blowing through his mane.

Azane looked at her mate, a lot had changed about him since they had first met, other than the magic loss. Azane thought she had changed a bit too. She put more thought into things now, but she was stronger, in a way, like a special kind of enderance that she had never noticed before had come out. Azane said,"Ready?"

Wind nodded and smiled at the love of his life."Ready."

Azane smiled, and brought Breeze up next to her. Twilight jumped to his feet, and started to pace, ever heading towards the path that Spirit had gone down.

Remy nudged Sundancer forward and they began to walk.

Azane headed after Twilight, hoping he knew which way to go. She heard Breeze beside her, and the other horses behind her. She walked, waiting for Wind.

He quickly started to walk to,staying beside Azane,ever watchful.

Twilight started to run, and Azane cantered after him. She smelt the air. The humans were gaining.

Star Night and Cherry galloped forward,together as should be.They would never be separated again Star Night hoped.

Wind stayed slightly back,and pushed the others on with his nose.Storm resisted,and stayed by his side.Wind called to Azane,"Make sure you get somewhere safe,if they gain to much,we'll lead em off the trail."

Azane nodded, but heard Twilight call,"That wouldn't be needed. They can't see us, and the tunnel is right head. Keep it down, and speed up!" With that, he burst into the fastest he could go. Azane, calling Breeze to her side, raced after him, glancing back Wind and the others. She looked back to Twilight, and saw the tunnel opening. Breeze bolted down with the wolf. Azane trotted in behind her, and saw Twilight and Spirit resting some ways ahead. She heard Crystal, and Shadow come in close behind, and Simi and Kiola behind them.

Wind nodded,and surged forward,Storm by his side.

((ooc:Sorry I had surgery on Thursday,and am still doped up on pain pills,so Im a little out of it))

Azane let her feet fly across the tunnel floor. There was no slowing up. Even in the cover of the tunnel, Twilight was pressing hard. She glanced at the walls, a greenish hue coming off of them. She wondered how much farther they had to go.

((ooc:Yea. Just my feet hurt alot.... But other than that,Im fine. Also,please dont demote me of my rank because I cant be on to much. But Im trying to be active.^^))

Wind pushed Storm on past him,and thundered on.

Star ran past them,Cherry by his side.

Azane nuzzled Wind, and then finally saw a light. Twilight slowed,"Go on up. Most of you. I need a few stallions to stay down to close the tunnel." Shadow nodded, and waited with Twilight.

Storm slowed to help them.

Wind nudged Azane on gently,not wanting her to get hurt.

Star Night also nudged Cherry on,and she went reluctantly.

Azane nuzzled her mate,"Be safe." She waited for Breeze and Kiola, and walked up. She heard Simi in her half limp walk with Snow helping her up. Age was catching up with the old horse.
